A rare and glamorous vintage womens Moschino jacket from the 2000s. In a luxurious grey wool rich tweed with a black houndstooth check pattern throughout and a fringed / frayed collar and cuffs. This jacket references one of Moschino's most iconic designs from 1991, the 'Survival Jacket, which was an African safari style jacket with multiple pockets. In line with Moschino's trademark tongue-in-cheek humour, the pockets had faux lipsticks hairbrushes and other beauty items attached for 'survival' in a fashion focused world. This jacket has a more sophisticated, Parisian cardigan jacket style with leather "gloves" hanging out of one pocket, a lipstick irreverently placed on the shoulder and velvet embroidered perfume bottle appliqués. A true collector piece.
