About this piece

An incredible and rare pair of vintage unisex jeans from the late 80s / early 90s by cult British label, Modzart which was founded by renowned British artists John Dove & Molly White - whose printed artworks have been displayed at the Tate & V&A. They are known for creating irreverent punk inspired works and first showed the Modzart label in 1981. This pair of jeans is a fantastic example of their work, printed all over with crushed drinks cans creating an almost trompe l'oeil effect and possibly a comment on the environment. They have a slim leg and a bold Modzart patch at the back.
