Joseph Vintage Black Pure Wool Victorian Style Riding Coat, 1980s

An absolutely incredible vintage womens coat from the 80s by luxury British fashion house, Joseph. Excellently constructed, made in France from a heavy black pure virgin wool fabric, which makes it perfect for autumn and winter. It has an amazing cut with seams creating a perfectly tailored waist that then flares out into a full skirt for an exaggerated hourglass silhouette. The collar is wide and open and the panelled sleeves are puffed at the shoulder that tapers inward to the wrist, giving a leg o mutton shape and a Victorian inspired aesthetic.

Size: Unlabelled; measures roughly like a modern womens UK 10-12/ US 6-8. Please check the measurements.
Bust - Free due to batwing style sleeves, more dependent on waist.

Condition: Very Good Vintage Condition - Some light wear to fabric in skirt, lost in gathers when worn. No noticeable stains, tears or holes.
