A rare and highly collectible vintage womens jacket from the late 80s / early 90s by luxury French fashion house, Grés - started by Madame Gres in 1942. Incredible quality and made in france, this jacket has lightly padded shoulders that contrasts with the tapered waist for a flattering, high fashion silhouette. The statement, off-centre golden buttons graduate from smaller at the top to larger at the bottom with bound buttonholes to match. The fabric is a navy matelassé with princess seams at the front and back and softly rounded lapels for a more feminine touch.
Size: Marked vintage FR 38 but measures more like a modern womens UK 8/ US 4/ EU 36. Please check the measurements.
