A fabulous vintage womens skirt from the 80s by luxury Italian fashion designer, Gianfranco Ferre. Ferré was seen as one of the most influential fashion designers of the 80s and 90s, becoming creative director of Dior from 1989-1996. He was known for his use of unabashedly opulent fabrics in statement making designs and this skirt is a great example of that. Made in Italy, from a beige and black pure silk woven into an intricate tribal inspired design. The cut gives an elevated look to the skirt with a slashed asymmetrical design at the bottom and a high waist to the top.
