Calugi e Giannelli Vintage Men's Dollar Print Bomber Jacket

An incredibly rare vintage men's bomber jacket from the 80s by luxury Italian designer duo, Calugi e Giannelli. Made in Italy from a peach cotton fabric with an American dollar print on the front and sleeves. It has a slightly cropped fit (which pairs well with high waisted trousers) and a zip front.

"Since beginning in 1982, Calugi e Giannelli has invented and reinvented clothing—menswear in particular—as if it were conceptual art... As playful as the Milanese Franco Moschino and as avant-gardist at the Parisian Jean-Paul Gaultier, Calugi e Giannelli's erudite conceptualism is accompanied by an equally strong sense of sensuality." - Taken from the Encyclopedia of Fashion. Unfortunately Calugi e Giannielli were too ahead of their time and so their business shut down due to financial difficulties - especially due to their focus being on menswear who weren't ready for their edgy, fashion forward designs.
