Outrageous Gold Silk Lamé Ruched Gown, S/S 2015
An incredible vintage ball gown designed by Jeremy Scott for Moschino Couture. This party dress was featured on the Spring Summer 2015 runway collection. Completely fabulous and over the top, this dramatic red carpet worthy gown has a long, fitted and ruched bodice, a halterneck and a fishtail flounce at the hem, which has a subtle high low effect making it easier to walk whilst keeping the glamorous effect.
In a striking gold lamé and silk fabric, with shots of subtle iridescent colours throughout. At the rear is a fantastic, large bow and the fishtail turns into a train, ensuring your exit is as dramatic as your entrance. Incredible quality, as to be expected from the renowned Italian fashion house. Made in Italy, with a built in boned corset, which fastens with two side zippers, is quite supple yet creates a flattering, feminine silhouette. The fish tail flounce has a great construction detail that is a band of tulle covered in a gathered satin to give the skirt volume. Even the giant bow has a thin wire on the inside which creates the structure and ensures it keeps the shape.
