Abstract Hand Printed Velvet Dress, 1970s
An absolutely incredible vintage dress from the 1970s by genius vintage designer, Kate Beaver - who collaborated with her famed Dorset abstract artist husband, Robin Rae - using the best of both of their talents, she created wonderful bohemian silhouettes, with historical inspiration. The pair then hand-printed Robin's incredible artwork onto the dresses - like this abstract, almost neo-primitive work of stick figure bodies falling from grace. A true piece of wearable art.
