Shop our collection of women's vintage Genny clothing from the 1970s to the 1990s, including glamorous evening dresses and jackets. Founded in 1961 by Donatella Girombelli, Genny was a high end Italian manufacturer that had iconic designers like Gianni Versace (who was creative director in 1973), Martine Sitbon, Claude Montana and Domenico Dolce designing for them at the start of their careers. They were one of the first great proponents of the idea of "Made in Italy", showing that Italian tailoring could be as good, if not better than the usual French production at the time. Eventually, Genny produced lines that became renowned in their own right like, Byblos and Complice. Vintage Genny Clothing is nearly always easy to wear, beautiful quality and often in simple, flattering silhouettes.
